Ported Barrel for the 9mm Taurus G3X, G3C, G2C, G2S and PT111 G2

After veiwing a utub vid on the comparison of parts between the G2 series and the PT709, I dicided to purchase this nice looking comp. When it arrived I went about the small task of fine tune fitting. Now mind you, I am not a gun smith but do have a fair amount of common sence. This fitting just required a small amount of sanding in the lock port area on the barrel, and that was that. Since installation I have taken my PT709 out to the range twice now and fired it with this barrel in it. I fired a good 400 rounds thruogh it. I have found that it works best with factory rounds, or close to that, (since I reload most of my ammo) to function well. And I have to admit it looks pretty cool too. I have also purchased the stainless steel firing pin guide, I think it has to have less friction than the factory one. This has given this oldish gun a new life.

Drops in, Cycles, feeds, and shoots 100%…all for a great price. What’s not to like?

The GX4 is snappy! Its size is great for a carry piece but the follow-on shots are difficult to manage. This barrel made a night-n-day difference! I wanted to get the threaded barrel and compensator but it's difficult to carry that way. So I got the comp barrel instead. I was skeptical and thought I'd be wasting my money on this barrel but I was dead wrong - this barrel is amazing. My initial shot was so nice and my follow-on shots tighter on target than I ever got before. I didn't get weird flashes in front of my line of sight, blow-by, or debris. It was clean and smooth. In my opinion this barrel needs to be on every carry piece to prevent unwanted fliers in a stressful situation. So smooth it feels like a full-sized experience. I highly recommend getting a comp barrel for any piece you carry. It truly makes a night-n-day difference and a better experience overall.

I waited and read reviews before purchasing. Now I wished I purchased before now.

Sticks out the too of da slide a lil, Not a threaded but ported barrel, one of a kind and Reduces recoil!

Looks good and fit well. Haven't shot yet but happy so far.
