FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the black nitride and gold TiN finishes we use will wear and that will be visible. Stainless parts will also get scratched, burnished, and show where they rub and touch other parts. This is normal and is not a defect.

    Noticeable improvement with the comp installed. Super easy to put on. Just used some thread lock and I’m good to go!

    The compensator itself seems to be of good quality. I have an issue with the rubber grommet/o-ring that was provided. It just wouldn’t tighten at the point where vent was on top of barrel. I placed it at the point that was as tight as I could without the o-ring collapsing but when I fire gun, it loosened after one or two shots. I sent a message to Lakeline regarding this issue but didn’t hear back. I went to the hardware store and bought a much thicker o-ring and now it seems it will hold the compensator in place when firing the gun.

    Any 9mm with a threaded barrel should have this. Small and Functional.

    Lot's of compensators out there, but many of them blow through the side somehow. The Lakeline is a smart design because pressure releases through the top. Thus, forcing the recoil back down to get to the next shot faster. It truly compensates for upward recoil. Smart!

    Best budget micro comp!!

    I have a strike industries circle comp. But at nearly $60 each I didn’t want to spend that much on setting up 3 other pistols. Tried lakeline and these comps are awesome. Only slightly bigger than the strike. Ran them on 22, 9mm and 5.7. Seemed to help with recoil and looks great!!

    Very functional, small installation issue

    To start I’m using this on my Taurus G3 Tactical. Overall the product is awesome and still useable with my CYA Supply IWB holster with modification. Now to the installation issue. I had problems with getting this clocked correctly. I tried heating up and freezing the supplied o-ring but it would push over the barrel right before it was clocked correctly. I went to my local gun shop to find different o-rings to try. The owner advised me to use a crush washer for an AR as they share the same barrel dimensions. The crush washer combined with the o-ring works absolutely perfect. It clocks perfectly and holds position with shooting. I did have to modify my holster as mentioned above. I dremeled out the bottom of the holster so the crush washer would clear and draw correctly.

    This compensator is amazing definitely helps a lot and reduce the recoil and muzzle rise of my G3.
