This is a very cool compensator.  We simply refer to it as a slide profile compensator.  Its dimensions make it look great with many of the compact and micro pistols on the market.
 
Included is an outer that threads on to your pistol and is threaded back just far enough to clear the frame and guide rod when the pistol is cycled.  Then, an o-ring is installed on the inner (which comes in silver or gold anodize) and it is threaded on and locked in place against the outer with a 14 mm wrench or socket.
 
The inner has ports for gas to escape all the way around it, which are gathered up and all channeled by the outer which acts as a manifold to direct all the escaping gasses upward to best reduce muzzle flip.  The reduction in muzzle rise from this compensator is incredible for its compact size.
 
Plus, it is easily clocked the correct direction when it is installed!

FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the black nitride and gold TiN finishes we use will wear and that will be visible. All parts get scratched, burnished, and show where they rub and touch other parts. This is normal and is not a defect.

    So I love this compensator it does its job but im running into an issue where it likes to come loose when I shoot my gun. I don't know what's going on I made sure it was tight I've shot it 2 times now both times it came loose LAKELINE LLC: This is not an uncommon complaint, but is common with all threaded comps. Use a bit of blue lock tight and clock into position.
