Lakeline Stainless Steel Guide rods have a reputation for being tough, really tough! The Lakeline Recoil assembly is designed to be the last recoil assembly your Taurus G3C, G2C, G2S or PT111 G2 will ever need. It is designed to be maintainable so springs can be changed if or when they eventually wear out. This is NOT a throw away, that must be replaced when it needs new springs. Spare springs are readily available for the Lakeline recoil assembly.

The springs are made from the best spring wire available and carefully finished to make sure that they will not over ride themselves or the flanges they ride on. The Lakeline springs rates are also optimized and provide a smoother recoil pulse than the factory parts while still shooting all standard rounds reliably. You don't have to select a light spring, that doesn't tolerate heavy loads, nor a heavy spring, that may not cycle regular range ammo with the Lakeline recoil assembly. By optimizing the spring rates, choosing spring material that doesn't weaken under use as much as typical and using better spring and sleeve lengths, this recoil assembly provides lighter recoil with range ammo all the way to +P rounds.
To make the trigger better, we started experimenting with new striker guides. We made them in plastic and polished stainless steel. The polished stainless steel gave by far the most consistent, lowest friction trigger pull. It also securely disables the Taurus security locking system. Our striker guide is precision machined and polished in 303 stainless steel.
Upgrade removes the lock out function of the Taurus security lock if equipped. You have a cutout to allow the Taurus Security System lock to immobilize the striker and make the pistol inoperable until unlocked. That is all well and good, but if you remove your slide from your pistol and push the striker back like it is moved back by the trigger, you can feel it bump and catch on the hole for the locking system.
You can also feel it when you use the trigger, it makes the pull uneven and nonlinear just before the trigger releases.

ultimate topside upgrade kit for 40 cal
Original my order arrived very quickly as promised, the pack was handled roughly and the spring was curved on the guide rod. I called Lakeline, and they responded in less than one hour. The customer service rep explained how this could happen and instructed me on a quick fix. It worked great and i highly recommend this kit to anyone.

I really think this kit was well worth the money, my only problem was getting the spring retainer on the return spring I also order the wrong kit I have a 9 mm and by mistake order a 40 cal my fault for some reason I never considered the g3c came in
Sent the return spring back still waiting for it. I was treated very nice and professionally thank you looking forward to doing more business with you looking for a laser that will fit my g3c with out looking to bulky I would like a light with the the laser if not to big with out going over 100 dollars maybe some help with that thank you very much

G3C 40 S&W upgrade kit
I felt a difference with the dry fire and slide rack, but have not made it to the range just yet. I’m happy with it, but a ported barrel included in the kit would’ve made me thrilled.
