.40 upgrade
Very easy to swap out the original parts with this upgrade. The only plastic part in mine was the striker guide. The guide rod is steel so I probably didn't need to replace the entire assembly, but I did and have original as backup parts if ever needed. I experienced no difference in the trigger pull, the original was very good and that didn't change. There is maybe a slight reduction in recoil impulse so that's a plus in a lightweight, short barreled .40S&W. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the upgrade.

Top end recoil assembly
Looks great. Easy replacement. Haven't shot it yet, but hopefully it will reduce the snappiness of the .40.

Overall good but….
I like the quality, didnt like the plastic components that it came with this fixed that. However, at the end of the recoil spring assembly. The weird half flat piece that they decided to use is just plain ugly, wish it could just be solid maybe color choice like the 9mm. Side note: pleaaaaaase make a full size (g2/g3) slide and barrel conversion so my .40 S&W can have a longer barrel like the 9mm. Also a magazine that can hold even just 15+ would probably make a lot of ppl very happy. Also for the .40 ofc

Ported barrel & upper assembly
Amazing recoil reduction and less kick on wrist. Over all an wonderful upgrade for the Taurus g2C in .40 S&W. It would be nice to see the ported barrel threaded and/or in gold plated.

Good Investment
I Purchased the Ultimate Topside Kit for my Taurus G2c 40 Caliber because I found out that my new gun had plastic parts inside I was very disappointed, so I did a quick search online and found this kit and jumped on it. Ordered it it came pretty quick and as described but unfortunately my Slide Rod and Spring assembly was bent in a very mysterious manner, I shipped it back before I got to test out the Recoil Reduction of the new Recoil Sprig. I can’t wait to get my replacement part that was damaged let’s say during shipping, but at any rate I don’t blame Lake Line at all for this unusual circumstance I’m telling you it’s weird. I’m sure not one other customer has had this happen SMH.
