Worth buying for piece of mind
Not sure if the plastic parts were ever going to crack/wear out. I figured I might as well replace the plastic part with this. How many times will you be taking apart your striker assembly? I would recommend these even though you might not need them.

Great Improvement Over Factory Two-Piece Design
The one-piece stainless steel retainer is a great upgrade over the factory two-piece plastic setup. While it may not change performance directly, it makes disassembly and reassembly much easier and more straightforward. Everything feels more solid, and the all-steel design gives it a cleaner, more durable setup overall. Definitely worth it for ease of maintenance and overall build quality.

I purchased this and the Stainless Steel Striker Guide for one of my 2 Taurus G3C pistols, so I could use with the existing firing pin assembly, to help it operate smoothly. My other 2 G series Taurus pistols I purchased the whole Lakeline LLC firing pin assembly, and added them for smoother trigger use. Atleast in my opinion I feel a nice different.
