Ditch the Plastic!!! The GX2 Guide rod, sleeve and end screw are each machined IN THE USA from 17-4 stainless steel. You will feel the difference in the recoil.

FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the black nitride and gold TiN finishes we use will wear and that will be visible. Stainless parts will also get scratched, burnished, and show where they rub and touch other parts. This is normal and is not a defect.

GX2 Stainless Steel Guide Rod
This is a great addition to my pistol. The OEM plastic guide rod was a weak link in the pistol and I was waiting for a stainless one to come out.

Taurus GX2 stainless steel recoil spring
The stainless steel recoil spring is a marked improvement over the factory supplied spring in the Taurus GX2. It's a great handgun, feels very comfortable in hand, but the original spring is a bit flimsy. Inserted the new recoil spring and it works flawlessly.
