Stainless steel slide spring
The factory only had about 300 rounds but knowing the factory week spots I decided to upgrade to the 18lb slide spring assembly with the metal base. Plastic in a handgun just seems wrong saying it. I’m not trusting my life to that. The gun fires beautifully.

The factory unit was functional of course, but plastic components allowed flex during operation. Election of the first round off a full magazine created stovepipe over 75% of the time. Replacement with the stronger all stainless steel assembly eliminated the problem due to direct linear movement void of flex.
