Optics ready TX22 Slide, Gen 1 Fit and finish
Fit and finish is great. They take extra care on the exterior viewing surfaces. Interior is great as well. Assembly was easy and fit was nice. What size are the mounting screws for the cover plate/optics mount? 6-32? M4-.70? Or?

I've been waiting for Taurus to release their conversion kits for their TORO TX22 slide, which is never available. I ran into this and took the plunge. The change of slide internals from the TX22 to this was fairly easy with the right tools. But, man, does that baby look gorgeous now. Went with the glossy silver and it's just a beaut. Something about beautiful guns, they're far more fun at the range.

TX22 optics ready slide
Very impressed with the machining and finish on this slide it's perfect. Instructions were easy to follow and didn't take long to swap parts and mount the optic. This has made shooting my Gen 1 TX22 much more fun.

Great Quality
The slide is slightly more heavy than stock, which I like. Assembly wasn't bad, the reason it gets 4/5 is due to the fact that there is ZERO instructions anywhere on removing the breech block. (Remove rolled pin then use a brass punch to push it forward)

A Masterpiece for Gen 1 TX22's
I ordered the high gloss anodized finish and was blown away by the quality of the slide. The addition of Glock style sights and/or an RMSc options for the slide is fantastic! The finish is gorgeous, so I think of this as the crowning jewel for any TX22!

tx22 optics ready slide
Very nice machining and finishing, and easy install. I had purchased a Lakeline adapter years ago to add a red dot to my gun; but with the added weight, gun had many ftf and stove piping, which it never had before adding sight. I hope without the need for an adapter and a lighter and smaller RMSc sight this will eliminate this issue.
