    709 Sight

    Posted by J P Graham on 26th Jul 2024

After purchasing the G2 Stainless Compensated barrel for my PT709, and of course shooting a good amount of ammo through it, I found that all my rounds were printing high. So I thought that I should buy a higher front sight, to bring the muzzle down. This front sight looked to be a bit higher than the factory sight and has a bright ring surrounding a tube of tritium. Now being that I,m 70, I need all the visibility I can get so I purchased this sight and popped it on my PT709 yesterday. Out to the range today and just as I thought, that cool little thing brought my point of impact right down to the Bullseye. I love it. And again has brought back this old gun into favor.

    Night Fision front sight

What a difference from the original plastic sight. Easy installation. Lakeland even provides an extra Phillips head screw in case you don't want to use the 2mm hex head screw that comes with it. Great product. I think I'll gt the matching rear sight next.
