You have a cutout to allow the Taurus Security System lock to immobilize the striker and make the pistol inoperable until unlocked. That is all well and good, but if you remove your slide from your pistol and push the striker back like it is moved back by the trigger, you can feel it bump and catch on the hole for the locking system.

You can also feel it when you use the trigger, it makes the pull uneven and nonlinear just before the trigger releases.

To make the trigger better, we started experimenting with new striker guides. We made them in plastic and polished stainless steel. The polished stainless steel gave by far the most consistent, lowest friction trigger pull. It also securely disables the Taurus security locking system. Our striker guide is precision machined and polished in 303 stainless steel.

Because PT111-G2 and PT140-G2 may require fitting of the Taurus Security System cam to install this part, we recommend installation only by a qualified gunsmith. This product also disables the Taurus Security System lock when installed on a pistol if the pistol is so equipped.

Big improvement. Worth the money for sure

Bought one for my G3s and G3C. Interchangeable for sure. Easy to replace ONCE you figure out how to depress the spring to take the assembly apart and put back together. Wore out my finger tips trying to get the first one on. Smoothed out the trigger for sure. Grittiness pretty much gone. This is a must have upgrade. Taurus should sell these as standard and simply raise the sell price accordingly.

No brainer to recommend and buy this replacement part. Taurus really cheaped out on the plastic guide. While the break in the trigger still is mushy, the grittiness is pretty much gone and allows for a smoother pull and less movement of the pistol. It will help on better tighter groups.

Stainless steel striker guide for Taurus G3C

I bought this to replace the plastic striker guide in the Taurus G3C because plastic will wear out and cause trigger issues. It, being stainless steel, is smooth, and with a bit of Ballistol, almost frictionless for a smoother, cleaner trigger. I know Taurus pistols can be inexpensive, but this simple change makes it an absolutely different gun, and Taurus should do ii from the factory (but then again, Glock uses a plastic sleeve as well). So, thanks to Lakeline for making it!

The stainless steel striker guide is top tier. Fit and finish are excellent, and installation was straightforward. It made a noticeable difference in overall performance, smoothing things out and improving function. I’d rate it a 10/10 and would definitely recommend it to anyone running a Taurus platform—especially if you’re dealing with a gritty trigger. Very satisfied with the upgrade.

These help make the trigger pull stay smooth, in my opinion. 1 G3c, and 1 G3 pistol I bought the whole Firing pin assembly from Lakeline LLC. And another G3c pistol I just bought this Stainless Steel Striker Guide and their keeper, and used the parts that came with the pistol. They just operate smoother to me with these Lakeline LLC parts.

I have put this in three Taurus G3 series pistols. Other than being a nice replacement for the plastic factory piece, it really cleans up the trigger pull. I recommend this product to anybody.
