Installed these with the 1 piece retainer in my PT111 G2...didn't realize how weak my original springs were until I changed them....great improvement

Firing pin spring kit.
I installed the new stainless steel striker guide and one of the parts you have to transfer besides the firing pin is the firing pin spring and return spring. Since I have had my Taurus PT709 Slim for about 7 years now, what better time is to give it a tune up and replace these springs at the same time I was installing the sleeve. Highly recommended to replace the springs in your old pistol.

Did them anyway just because!
These aren't suppose to be an upgrade merely factory equivalent replacements at least that's what they said in an email. However upon doing some research I read many reviews from outside sources who were telling a different story so I ordered them. Along with the one piece retainer and guide and yeah there's a big difference. I had already installed a KT trigger with spring and this set made a better trigger even better and with the guide rod assembly and ported barrel also available here this pistol is about 3x the firearm it was when I got it which wasn't very long ago. I say go for it! If you have one that doesn't have the TSS system it's quite simple and Lakeline provides detailed instruction sheets with photos. You'd have to be pretty incompetent to not be able to install these. I'd have to say so much so that you probably shouldn't own a firearm...

Flawless
I put these in over 1000 rounds ago along with the recoil spring assembly and stainless striker guide. No failures in any of the 1000+ rounds and still going strong. Lakeline is top quality!

I reloaded with some small rifle primers because I was out of pistol primers. Got about40% fail with factory springs. Put these in and got100% . Going to put them in any G I might have.
