FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the black nitride and gold TiN finishes we use will wear and that will be visible. Stainless parts will also get scratched, burnished, and show where they rub and touch other parts. This is normal and is not a defect. We have seen that when we replace a barrel in one of our pistols, the new barrel seems to show the same sort of wear pattern as the barrel we removed. If this doesn’t work for you, don’t purchase it.

    Gold Standard Package for 9mm Pt111 G2 Millennium

    Bought this package for my PT111 G2 Millennium. Unfortunately the slide would not close in the barrel or lock. I'm not interested in modifying my gun or paying additional money to have some one else do it. I was hoping for a direct drop in part. Since that didn't work I will be returning this package. The finish does looks good, and it would have looked perfect with my 2 tone Taurus. Although I don't understand why include a flat stock base plate and not something upgraded or finished in gold to match the other parts. LAKELINE: the Millennium model was been recalled and the tolerances on this model can require fitting work.
