Introducing the new ADE HELIOS RD3-031, a fully enclosed emitter red dot sight engineered for reliability, durability, and rapid target acquisition. Featuring a rechargeable battery system, motion activated technology, 6 selectable reticle patterns, and ADE's Patent Pending Structural Mounting System™, the HELIOS delivers exceptional performance while maintaining a compact and lightweight profile.
Unlike traditional open-emitter optics, the HELIOS utilizes a fully enclosed emitter design that helps protect the emitter from dust, moisture, lint, mud, rain, carbon fouling, and other environmental debris, helping maintain a clear aiming point in demanding conditions.
The HELIOS uses the popular RMR footprint and is compatible with most slides and mounting plates designed for Trijicon RMR, SRO, Holosun 407C, 507C, 508T, 507 Comp, and other optics utilizing the standard RMR footprint.
NEW ADE Structural Mounting System™
— A New Way to Mount a Red Dot
The HELIOS introduces ADE's patented Structural Mounting System™, a fundamentally different approach to mounting a pistol optic.
Traditional red dots depend primarily on two mounting screws to resist recoil. Under repeated firing, those screws absorb the majority of the recoil forces, which can contribute to loosening, shifting, or long-term screw fatigue.
The HELIOS uses a patented structural side-clamp design that redirects recoil forces into the mounting interface itself. Instead of relying on screw shear strength, the optic locks mechanically into the slide or mounting plate, while the screws serve primarily to clamp the optic securely in place.

The HELIOS includes a rechargeable LIR2032 battery and magnetic USB charging cable.

The HELIOS is designed for use with the included rechargeable LIR2032 battery.
A standard (non-rechargeable) CR2032 battery may also power the optic, although initial brightness may be slightly reduced.
IMPORTANT:
Never attempt to recharge a standard CR2032 battery. Charging a non-rechargeable CR2032 battery may cause battery failure or explosion. If using a CR2032 battery, remove it before connecting the magnetic charging cable.
