The BEST addition to a SA Hellcat
Such a small part but such a big difference in the ability to use the control. This is the best thing you can do for your Hellcat because the OEM part is nearly unusable. Lakeline did it right with this release, easy to engage and still totally snag free in a holster.. I looked at another brand, but Lakeline makes the best Slide Release of the Hellcat.

Amazing product hands down
The hellcat's stock slide release is straight up the only problem it has. As it comes it is incredibly tough to push down to the point that when I first had it at the range I thought it was jammed. If it was hard and painful to push down for me, imagine what it does to my girlfriend's thumb. She complained over and over about it and that is when I decided to go looking for a solution. Lakeland's extended slide release completely solved the problem. This product is well made, high quality, and is a reasonable price. Shipping was blazing fast as well. Really appreciate the improvement. Who knew that the slide release sticking out 2mm extra would make such a huge difference. It now feels like it takes half the effort it did before to release.

Great add for hellcat
I always had trouble with the flush slide lock on the hellcat over the p365. This much improved the initial design.

Massive improvement over factory part.
This solved my only issue with the Hellcat, the location and shape of the factory slide release inducing failures to lock back on an empty mag. The stock part is so low profile, I could hardly feel it there under my thumb, especially in rapid fire. This extended slide release is beautifully machined and finished, and it solves the occasional failure to lock experienced with the factory part by moving the engagement surface out just enough. I also noticed it is slightly thicker at the pin hole, which reduces side to side movement and acts as a trigger shim of sorts. Brilliant design! keep up the great work Lakeline, can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!

ARTHRITIS SUCKS
I could not release the slide with the Hellcat factory lever. I had to use my opposite hand. The Lakeline slide release has made a significant improvement.

Terrific Upgrade!
This is exactly what this pistol needed desperately. If you've used the hellcat pro, you're aware that locking the slide back manually is super difficult because the slide stop is very low profile. This upgraded slide stop is exactly the right thickness, and remains low profile (so it won't interrupt a thunbs-forward grip) but is super easy to use when you need it, both to manually lock the gun, or to release. And it looks clean, identical to the OEM part. Furthermore, the OEM part has a tendency (because of its thin profile) to be pushed too far in, failing to lock the slide back (of you haven't felt that yet, you haven't spent enough time handling your hellcat!) That issue is resolved with this part. Great job on this one, guys! A++++
