Beavertail Gip Adapter for the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 and the Performance Center’s Carry Comp version. Made from premium Boltaron thermoplastic for superior resistance to impact damage. This adapter slips on the back of your Bodyguard 2.0 or BG2.0 Carry Comp nestling into the underside of the pistol’s grip and beavertail. It lowers your grip by 0.1 tenth of an inch, protecting your hand from slide bite and smoothing the aggressive stippling on the Bodyguard’s back strap.
Available in two colors currently: Black and Brown. The Grip Adapter includes a hole aligned to the Bodyguard’s roll pin in the grip and includes a matching extended length roll pin to install the grip adapter permanently to your Bodyguard 2.0 ’s grip if you choose to keep mounted permanently for daily carry. The Drilled version works exactly like the un-drilled, plain version if you choose not to install the roll pin.
This grip adapter only fits the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 and the matching Performance Center’s Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp.
These are made by hand, so there are small variations. Grip Adapters are not returnable, but if there is a flaw due to our design, we will replace the unit at no cost to our customer or refund the price, your satisfaction is our bottom line.
Note: Occasionally a Grip Adapters will displays “pop off” which means it doesn’t click into place and tries to pop off the back strap. We check for “pop off” on every Grip Adapter we sell prior to shipping. We test on both a Bodyguard 2.0 standard version and Carry Comp version. The fix is very simple. We hold the Grip Adapter firmly in place on the grip for 15 seconds, increasing the time by 15 seconds intervals until it stay in place. If a grip adapter won’t stay in place by simply holding it firmly on the grip for 1 minute maximum, it is rejected. The few Grip Adapters that display “pop off” are fixed within 15 to 30 seconds of firm grip.
Every Grip Adapter is checked for hole alignment on Bodyguard 2.0 frame.
