The Lead Farmer™ Self-Reset Disconnector functions as a Forced Reset Trigger (FRT) for the Taurus TX22. Compatible with all Taurus TX22 models and generations. This part replaces the standard disconnector and allows the trigger to self-reset with the slide cycle. While the shooter maintains trigger pressure, the slide cycle forces a self-reset of the standard factory trigger mechanism to affect a follow on firing upon chambering of the next round.
The Lead Farmer™ researched performance of available FRT available options and found their proprietary inertial lightening cut on the disconnector improved reset performance and significantly reduced miss fire and failure to feed issues. Performance was additionally improved with the Lakeline +2 lb spring rate recoil assembly (here) for the TX22 Gen2. While this does not eliminate all fire and feed issues, it is a steep improvement. Keep your weapon clean and understand you will likely need to periodically replace striker housings (here).
This part is Made in the USA of 304L Stainless Steel to ASME B18.8.2 standards. The Rockwell B Hardness is 82 and the tensile yield strength is 81,000psi. All parts are precision laser cut to a high tolerances, mechanically deburred, then hand polished for performance and reliability.
