Fits the Ruger Security 9 and Security 9 compact.  Does not fit the Security 380.
 
Our Low Profile Micro Red Dot sight mounting plates are machined from 7075 Aluminum alloy and hard anodized for high strength and light weight.   This fits the: Shield RMSC, Sig Romeo 0,  Swampfox Sentinel Micro, Holosun 407k/507k, Hex Wasp Micro Red Dot, RITON X3 Tactic MPRD, ADE Spike, Sightmark Mini Shot A-Spec M3 and other compatible sights.    Does NOT fit on : ADE  RD3-006A/B, RD3-013, RD3-012G sights.  Crimson Trace 1550 requires modifications to fit.
 
This sight plate has bosses at the screw mounting points and is milled to support the sight along the front and rear faces as well so your sight won't shift like it does on flat plates with just the screws to try to keep it aligned.  Plus, the screws don't have to be tightened to the point of deforming the optic to try to keep it in place.  And, the dovetail is a tight fit, it is a press fit as well as held with a retaining screw to assure that the sight can hold zero.
 
This sight plate weighs under 3/10ths of an ounce.  What is the point of getting a light, ultra micro sight that won't affect your pistol's function and then mounting it on a sight plate heavier than the sight itself?
 
The rear sight on your pistol is removed and replaced with this mounting plate in order to mount your micro red-dot sight. No modifications to the pistol are needed. The mount can be removed and the rear sight reinstalled at any time.   Mounting hardware for the red dot sight is included.  Co-witnesses with suppressor height sights that are approximately .375 inch from the top of the slide (Shield RMSC and Sig Romeo 0 height) and the integral rear iron sight in the red dot (if red dot so equipped) like the Lakeline S9-SF-CW-085.
 
Gunsmith installation recommended as fitting is required.  Fitting it the only way to assure a proper fit can be made to each, individual pistol. This is the sight mount plate only!  Photo for illustration only that shows pistol and sight.

    Seems to be a good product. Mounting was easy and the fact that it indexes automatically thanks to the it using the same threaded hole used by the factory sight is a plus. My Sig Romeo Zero went on without a hitch.

    Low profile mounting plate for Ruger S9

    This sight fit perfect,but not out of the package. You have to fit to get it on,but easy to do,get a small gunsmith triangle file,file one direction keeping the file flat so you keep the angle. Took me about 20 mins to file. I would only file a few strokes at a time and tried fitting until it would mostly slide on then I used a hammer and punch and tapped it in place. My sight fit perfect then I bore sighted ready for the range to zero. I had another mount on my pistol but didnt have enough elevation since mount was too tall. This mount is a lot lower so I should have plenty adjustment. I would recomend this product and super fast delivery.

    Quality but…

    This is a nice quality piece but it will not fit the Ruger security 380. This was my fault. The security 380 and the security 9 are very similar in dimensions, I figured it would work but the dovetail is slightly different on the 380.
