Buffered Recoil Assembly for the Taurus TX22 Gen2 (does not fit the Competition, Compact, nor Standard Gen1 versions) pistol. This is a fully Assembled Recoil Assembly.

Lakeline Stainless Steel Guide rods have a reputation for being tough, really tough!

End cap is available now in a polished Stainless Steel, Gold (Titanium Nitride), and Black Cerakote Finishes.

Now offering multiple Spring Rates - Standard Factory OEM rate, minus 2 pounds, and plus two pounds.

The recoil assembly includes a stainless steel buffer that protects the aluminum slide bucket from the spring when firing the pistol. The Lakeline LLC Buffered Recoil Assembly will not gall the slide on your TX22.

This is an engineered system that improves the performance and function of the TX22 Gen2. The guide rod and springs are designed to work with the buffer to maintain the factory slide travel and minimize the forces on the slide. The stainless steel guide rod provides a stable rigidity for a smoother recoil.

The spring is precision ground on the end that engages the slide so it is very flat to prevent any undue wear on the TX22's aluminum slide. The Lakeline LLC recoil assembly, when compressed to solid height, is the same as the factory specification to prevent damage from frame and slide contact during firing. Others are not so carefully designed.

Cycling rounds

Cycling to eject fixed. Round casing kept getting stuck in slide on ejecting. Read tons of fixes. “Polish metal, polish feed ramp, sand magazines.” Tried various brands of ammo. Suppressed and not suppressed. Problem is NONE OF THOSE, it’s the plastic recoil assembly. Added plus 2 lbs spring. Totally fixed. This allows the correct time for the casing to be ejected. Runs flawlessly with high velocity, and subsonic, even when suppressed. Taurus should use this recoil spring in the TX 22. SUPER HAPPY.

I trust Lakeline spring assembly for my steel challenge 22 pistols. This was a must have for my TX22 Gen 2 pistol. So far only a few hundred rounds but has worked perfectly.

This recoil assembly is critical in making it perform to its potential ! It’s the missing puzzle piece ! People chasing performance with lots of weight needed to use this ! Mine runs awesome with 1.4 to 1.6 ounces of weight with 1070 to 1250 fps ammo with a Dead Air Mask ! If you look around there’s options to fitting the weight under the optic .

Taurus tx22 ships with a super cheap plastic buffer. This spring is steel, and fits perfectly. Just the right product, and shipped fast.
