While testing our TX22s, we found that some shooters were having issues cleanly releasing mag changes without disrupting thier grip. We tested four different extended sizes and ran them through multiple rounds of blind "taste testing". We found that the 0.045" extended height just right - our testers, with a variety of hand sizes, found this size much easier to blindly drop while also having no inadvertent mag drops.
 
If the factory one works great for you, there is no reason to change it and there are more fun ways to spend $10.
 
You will reuse your factory spring with this mag button. Switch out is relatively easy.

    The slightly extended mag release, when compared to the OEM, visually is very minor, when installed, it is visually protrudes a little more, with that little extra it is way easier to release and does not require a huge re-grip, more of a thumb reposition.
