Installation Difficulty:
Medium. Need a long punch to remove and reinstall breech block and a small punch for roll pins. Straight forward process and most report it was easy.

Optics Ready, tactical slide Standard Taurus TX22  (does not fit the Competition*, the Compact versions, nor Gen2) pistol that includes:
  • Billet Machined Slide in 7075 Aluminum
  • Optic cover plate
  • Cover plate screws, M4 x 0.70 mm Thread, 5 mm
  • Sight Pins for use with red dot sights that accommodates using all 4 bosses
  • YOU SELECT finish color
Features:
  • Glock pattern sights.  Any sight that works with the Taurus GX4, Taurus G3C or TX22 Compact fit this slide.  Sights not included.
  • Reinforced recoil assembly support - this slide won't break at the recoil assembly support!!
  • Optic ready: accepts RMSC footprint red dot sights.  Uses removable pins to accommodate Holosun K footprint and other RMSC footprint sights that don't use all 4 bosses.  Will accept the adapter plate for the GX4 to fit the RMRcc sight footprint.
  • Slide lightening cuts
  • Accepts Lakeline LLC TX22 Target Barrels (coming soon)

Installation:  Your factory breech block, extractor, extractor spring and plunger, striker assembly, and slide plate need to be moved over to this part.  Glock style sights will be needed.  This is the bare slide and parts mentioned above.  Here are the TX22 Slide installation instructions.

*TX22 Competition - this slide will fit the TX22 Competition, but will require you also purchase a TX22 Standard Barrel and Recoil Assembly.
 
FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the Cerakote we use will wear and that will be visible. This is normal and is not a defect.  Regardless, this is one of the toughest finishes out there and is used by Special Forces.

    A Must Have... though needs improvements.

    If you want to save the time and trouble of have the factory slide milled, then this is an inexpensive option that is very aesthetically awesome. Serrations are great but could use a just couple more (though I see why by design there are less), and I say that because the high gloss anodizing is slick. The serrations remind me of my Stoeger STR-9sc pistol. Speaking of the anodizing... my sample of one, was not the best. Several areas appear lightly pitted, and what appears as runs along the sides (some milling is also visible)… Lakeline offered an exchange but the costs of sending it back and my time was not entirely worth it and no other adjustments made. Mounting a red dot appears straight forward but don't lose the 2 tiny posts provided. For the $... this is a great option for a red dot, and lighter slide with the Glock cut sights is another bonus. Have a pair of tweezers handy, for handling/reinstalling the small parts. Lakeline: Black anodized can show some natural variations. Regardless, we stand by our products and are happy to exchange.
