Buffered Recoil Assembly for the Standard Taurus TX22  (does not fit the Competition version) pistol that includes:
  • Fully Assembled Recoil Assembly
Lakeline Stainless Steel Guide rods have a reputation for being tough, really tough!

The buffer absorbs and damps some of the shock load into the slide from the spring when firing the pistol. The polymer buffer rides against the slide, preventing anything steel from a spring or washer from riding on the soft aluminum slide as in other designs.  The Lakeline LLC Buffered Recoil Assembly simply can't mark or gouge the slide on your TX22.  There is nothing better to enhance the longevity of your TX22 slide.

Gold TiN COATING on the end screw.

A very hard, Gold colored, Titanium Nitrite finish is used on the end screw.

The flat wire spring sees lower stress levels and has a longer life than round wire springs.

The TX22 Guide rod and end screw are each machined from stainless steel.  The proprietary buffer is a tough, shock resistant polymer.

This is an engineered system that preserves the factory specifications and function of the TX22 slide.   The guide rod and springs are designed to work with the buffer to maintain the factory slide travel and minimize the forces on the slide.

The spring is precision ground on the end that engages the slide so it is very flat to prevent any undue wear on the TX22's aluminum slide.  The Lakeline LLC recoil assembly, when compressed to solid height, is the same as the factory specification to prevent damage from frame and slide contact during firing.  Others are not so carefully designed.  Slapping a weaker, 3D printed washer in your existing TX22 recoil assembly can increase the stress on your slide.

FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the black nitride and gold TiN finishes we use will wear and that will be visible. Stainless parts will also get scratched, burnished, and show where they rub and touch other parts. This is normal and is not a defect.
